The Town Hall no longer forms part of the accommodation strategy of Hammersmith & Fulham Council, and accordingly parties interested in assuming responsibility for the next phase of its life are now sought. This will include restoration of the property and its conversion to a viable use that assures the retention of this magnificent building for future generations.
The Council wish to find a new owner who will implement a scheme of sensitive restoration and reuse. The building has a wealth of architectural features and is centrally located with superb accessibility.
It offers opportunities for conversion to a variety of uses that could include hotel, retail, leisure, residential or a combination of these. The Council also recognise the property is suitable for specialist uses such as educational, professional and institutional.
Plans and photographs on this website demonstrate the qualities of this building and illustrate the potential for other uses. We hope this will provide some inspiration for an imaginative and sensitive restoration of this important heritage asset.
